USER, DEVELOPER AND ADMINISTRATOR TRAINING
Business Intelligence solutions often bring a new experience to the user community. At Genware we realize that the user community may range from the novice that has never before
made use of information to that of a power-user that understands Business Intelligence functionality in depth.
User training falls into two distinct categories: Functional Training and Business Training.
Functional Training: Functional training addresses the user experience and how to operate within the new environment. Typical topics covered are: the BI platform, Logon, Navigation, Exporting information for use in other products such as MS Excel, Formatting options, and many other topics ensuring that users can successfully gain access to the information they need.
Business Training: Business Training addresses the information that has been provided for the consumer and how this information can be best utilized. Typical topics include: Data
Environment and where it was sourced from, Analyze then Query, Multidimensional Business Process Measurement, Real-world examples, and other topics ensuring that the users know what is available, and how this relates to their business process.
A Genware trainer can work with you to design, develop, and conduct the training that your user community requires. Training can be delivered using the standard demonstration data provided with the default installation of your Cognos applications, or
the training material can be customized to use the data and structures that have been built by your Business Intelligence developers.
Cognos Developers and Administrators are presented at a Cognos office near you. As a Cognos Business partner, Genware can assist you with selecting the appropriate level of training required and schedule you on the training course that best
suits your needs.
